About the Program

The Red Flag Green Flag (RFGF) Curriculum is a comprehensive program designed to promote personal boundaries and body ownership for early elementary-aged children (ages 5-8). Whether you’re a school, social service agency, law enforcement professional, or parents, this program helps children:

  • Recognize different kinds of touch
  • Identify potentially harmful situations
  • Practice assertive responses to unsafe scenarios
  • Connect with trusted adults for help.

Since launching in 1983, the program has undergone multiple revisions to address changing tactics in abuse prevention. The latest update was released in 2024 and will continued to be updated as needed.
