Every year Rape and Abuse Crisis Center hosts a variety of fundraisers in the community. The proceeds from these events help us serve on average 3,200 child and adult victims of domestic/dating violence, sexual assault, elder abuse, trafficking/sexual exploitation and child sexual abuse each year.

Handbags for Healing—Designer Purse Bingo (2027 Date TBD)

Handbags for Healing is a designer purse bingo event supporting the important work of RACC. Purses from Michael Kors, Coach, Kate Spade and more are won through various games of bingo. 

Giving Hearts Day (February 12, 2026)

Giving Hearts Day is a 24-hour event for charities in North Dakota and northwest Minnesota. Each year, Giving Hearts Day provides a platform for charities to fund their missions through an ever-increasing community of donors. Visit www.givingheartsday.org for more information. 

Fabulous Fashion and Friends Style Show (April 2027)

This event is an evening of fashion and fun in partnership with My Best Friend’s Closet supporting the work of the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center with proceeds going to RACC’s children’s services and the Meredith Haugen Play Therapy Room! 

Harvest Moon Fling (October)

Armory Event Center | Moorhead, MN

Our largest fundraiser of the year! Funds raised through this event help ensure counseling, crisis intervention, and education to children and their families in our community. It is an evening of wine tasting, silent and live auctions and the proceeds allow RACC to keep all services free to those in need.
