Rachel Gronbach, M.Ed., LPCC, has been the clinical supervisor of the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center since May 2019. Prior to assuming a supervisory role, she was a counselor on staff at RACC since January 2014. Rachel earned a Master of Education in counselor education from North Dakota State University in 2014 and a Bachelor of Arts in women’s studies from Iowa State University in 2009. Rachel has worked in anti-violence, social justice work for over 10 years. Her work has revolved around serving those experiencing violence, trauma, poverty and homelessness. In her counseling work, Rachel uses Relational-Cultural Theory (RCT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and art-based interventions. Rachel enjoys creating art, watching scary movies and reading scary books, and spending time with her favorite people and pets.
