Melissa Williams, LBSW
Prevention Education Supervisor
Melissa Williams, LBSW, has been the prevention education supervisor at Rape and Abuse Crisis Center since September 2019. Melissa graduated with a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2012. She is a member of the North Dakota Human Trafficking Task Force, and is the vice chair of the Labor Trafficking Subcommittee. Additionally, Melissa serves on various committees within the Fargo-Moorhead metro area focused on the health and safety of our communities. Melissa is a skilled group facilitator specific to foster care, mental health and human trafficking multi-disciplinary teams. She has experience in protocol development, crisis management, public speaking, training development, prevention/education, advocacy and case management. Melissa assisted in creating a summer food service program for children in Fargo, and studied abroad the social welfare system of Ireland. She currently lives in Fargo with her husband, Ryan, and loves being an aunt to her six nieces and nephews.
