
Kara Odegaard
Chief Operations Officer
Kara Odegaard has been the chief operating officer of the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center since November 2018. Kara earned a Bachelor’s of Elementary Education degree with Gifted and Talented and ESL certifications from the University of North Dakota. Prior to taking the helm at RACC, she held a development director position since 2012, where she oversaw requests for funding, donor relations and charitable gaming. Throughout her career, Kara has developed extensive experience in drafting and reviewing federal, state and foundation requests for funding; implementing infrastructure needed to track organizational impact; and building relationships with community partners, venders and donors. Kara has one son, Cole, and lives in Grand Forks.
