The Rape and Abuse Crisis Center provides crisis intervention, advocacy, counseling and education to victims of domestic/dating violence, elder abuse, trafficking/ sexual exploitation and child sexual abuse and prevention programming to the community. To enhance these essential services, RACC has the following opportunities available:

Community Advocate –This position will provide crisis intervention and ongoing case management for sexually exploited youth and adults in Clay and Wilkin Counties. The Community Advocate will be responsible for intensive case management, crisis intervention, and outreach. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with law enforcement, social services, and other system professionals. Experience working with at-risk youth beneficial. Must be able to work independently, engage with a multi-disciplinary team, and provide community presentations. This position requires knowledge of issues related to domestic violence and sexual abuse as well as a Bachelor's degree in social work, human services, psychology, criminal justice, or related field. Weekly travel required locally and within neighboring counties.

Counselor
– This position will work directly with child, adolescent and adult victims of personal violence, with some services provided in area schools. A Master’s Degree in a Human Service field and eligibility for licensure is required.
